The goal was to discover the evolution of transgender representation in the media and to understand how the society was influenced by it.
We also tried to analyse at what point Italy is in this conversation.
The initial idea of using watchparty did not work due to technical issues, so in the end Netflix Party was opted for despite being a more limiting platform as it requires a Netflix subscription. During the screening there were several comments on the chat, both about the scenes shown in the documentary, and about the TV series and movies shown, generating a very interested discussion that lasted throughout the documentary. Unfortunately the documentary ended too late to be able to make a final discussion but in the end everyone considered this vision very interesting and instructive so the objective of the event is considered achieved.
