Showing the beautiful austrian town Mariazell to the Erasmus students, getting to know our culture better, making them experience an authentic christmas market, having a fun time together, meeting new friends.
We went by bus with 60 people to Mariazell for a day trip. Beforehand, we filled out the Covid prevention policy and took care of preparing all the safety measures for the event: the students had to register, pay beforehand and show their 2G+ certificates (vaccination/recovery + PCR test). We met at Westbahnhof, where they checked in with their tickets from our brand new cool events registration system, showed their ceritificates, disinfected their hands and hopped on the bus, wearing their FFP2-mask. During the bus ride we handed out an information sheet with "things to do in Mariazell" (market, gingerbread bakery, a hike etc.). After a 2 hours bus ride we arrived and had a lovely day in Mariazell. In the evening we went back.
