The goal of this activity was to foster a positive and inclusive environment where we could discuss and share Christmas cultures and traditions respectfully. We wanted to create a space where everyone felt welcome to participate and contribute.
Through both the cultural exchange and the group games, we were able to strengthen communication skills and build stronger bonds not only among the students but also between the students and the volunteers.
The activity was divided into two parts.
Part one focused on cultural exchange, with students sharing and discussing Christmas traditions from their home countries. Each participant had the opportunity to present a specific tradition or food, and the group engaged in a lively conversation, identifying similarities, differences, and adding interesting insights.
Part two was dedicated to social activities and games designed to foster a friendly and challenging environment for participants to improve their social and communication skills.
