The goal of the activity was involving Erasmus students in local LGBTQ+ community activities. This way they could become active partners and supporters of the community and at the same time discover local needs and requests.
Local LGBT+ associations put themselves together recently in order to organize Bari pride on the 2 nd of July. As the event will not be sponsored, the organizations is trying to collect founds by organizing a set of different events and activities in preparation for the pride. This event was specifically held in Chiringuito, a special place in the city center, on the International day against Homolesbobitransohobia. During the manifestation the Erasmus students had the opportunity to fight with the local members against homophobia and at the same time to meet them and get to know them. They could also have been involved in the future steps of the organization of the pride. A little desk, where some students donated for the organization was held. Later, in a close location a free small concert was held.
