The main purpose of the activity is to discover one of the most unexpected but wonderful cities in the Marche region, Camerino, together with our international students from Macerata and Camerino. During their mobility, they also have the opportunity to discover the surrounding places that characterise and mostly fulfill their study or work experience in our region. In fact, the city of Camerino, not only hosts one of the most important universities in the territory, but also offers a rich historical and natural background perfect to be visited and lived. Despite being less-known and also afflicted by earthquakes, the city is still capable of preserving its true essence, with beautiful buildings, panoramic viewpoints, and natural landscapes.
During the activity, we guided them through some of the most meaningful and symbolic spots in the historic center. We explored the most important buildings and viewpoints that feature Camerino. In addition, this initiative is meant to improve intercultural exchange, friendship, community spirit between the two sections, helping students feel at home while discovering one of the hidden gems of Italy.
