A walk to discover Camerino
On a bright early March day, a group of Erasmus students set out to explore the charming town of Camerino, guided by the enthusiastic ESN AURE staff. With the sun casting a golden glow over the rooftops and a crisp breeze carrying the scent of spring, the students wandered through the heart of the historic center, eager to uncover its hidden treasures.
The tour began with visits to Camerino’s ancient churches, where the silence and grandeur of centuries-old architecture left everyone in awe. Moving through the town’s picturesque streets, they arrived at the lively main square, a perfect spot to soak in the atmosphere and snap photos of the elegant buildings surrounding them. Strolling along the narrow, history-filled alleys, they reached the majestic Rocca, Camerino’s ancient fortress.
From the belvedere, a breathtaking panorama unfolded before their eyes—the rolling peaks of the Apennines stretching endlessly into the horizon. The students took a moment to admire the view, feeling both humbled and inspired by the beauty of nature. The tour concluded in the tranquil gardens of the Rocca, where they reflected on the town’s rich history and shared their impressions.
As the day came to an end, the Erasmus students left with a newfound appreciation for Camerino—a place where history, culture, and natural beauty intertwine in the most magical way.
