Goal of the Activity

The goal of this activity is to give the Erasmus students of this semester the opportunity to discover the beauty and charm of Camerino and its surrounding countryside. We believe it is important for international students not only to study here, but also to truly experience the local culture, history, and natural environment that make this area so unique and welcoming. Camerino, located in the heart of the Marche region, offers a rich historical and artistic heritage. Despite the damage caused by the 2016 earthquake, the ancient part of the city still preserves its essence, with beautiful buildings, narrow alleys, panoramic viewpoints, and centuries-old traditions. Our aim is to help students connect with the spirit of the town and appreciate its resilience and beauty.

Description

During the activity, we will guide them through some of the most meaningful and symbolic spots in the historic center. We will also explore the green hills and scenic countryside that surround Camerino, which are perfect for nature lovers and those who seek a deeper connection with the landscape. This initiative is also meant to encourage intercultural exchange, friendship, and community spirit, helping students feel at home while discovering a lesser-known yet incredibly fascinating part of Italy.
