The aim of the activity was to introduce Erasmus students to the cultural and historical richness of Bologna. Through a guided city tour, participants had the opportunity to explore its iconic landmarks, discover its vibrant atmosphere, and gain a deeper understanding of its heritage. The tour also provided a great chance to connect with fellow students and experience the dynamic spirit of one of Italy’s most historic university cities.
The day started with a guided walking tour through the city’s charming streets, where we explored its iconic landmarks, including Piazza Maggiore, the Two Towers, and the historic porticoes. Along the way, we learned fascinating facts about Bologna’s history and university life.
After the walk, we took a well-deserved break to taste some traditional Bolognese specialties, such as tortellini, mortadella, and crescentine, giving everyone a delicious introduction to the city’s famous cuisine.
