Goal of the Activity
The aim of our trips is to introduce erasmus students to other famous places in Belgium. This allows them to discover different aspects of belgian culture for a day. Especially here, the Parade of the Gilles de Binche is a unique event in Belgium. It was unthinkable not to show them.
Description
During « Mardi Gras », we took the train with the Erasmus students to Binche to introduce them to the town's famous carnival. This place is famous for the « Parade of the Gilles de Binche », who are emblematic characters in the city. We went on a city tour with the erasmus students, where we pointed out the most important monuments, before settling down to watch the parade.
