Goal of the Activity
The main purpose of this activity was to end our welcome week on a high note by taking international students to discover the Belgian coast and enjoy the last rays of sunshine. They could have enjoyed the sun on the beach or eaten in a restaurant along the seafront; in short, they could get to know each other while relaxing.
Description
In the end, we couldn't go to the seaside because of the bad weather. However, we suggested that those who had signed up meet up at a famous park in Liège: the Parc de la Boverie. We brought snacks and drinks and organised some games for the international students so that they could relax and get to know each other. It was different from the beach, but just as effective!
