The goal of the activity was to introduce international students to the rich history, culture, and unique atmosphere of the Balat neighborhood. Through this guided tour, we aimed to foster cultural exchange, deepen participants' understanding of the city, and create meaningful connections among students by exploring one of Istanbul’s most colorful and historic districts together.
We explored the vibrant streets of Balat together on a memorable tour! Known for its colorful houses, historic buildings, and artistic corners, Balat offered the perfect backdrop for discovering a different side of Istanbul. During the tour, students had the chance to learn about the area’s rich cultural history, take amazing photos, and enjoy a relaxed day walking through one of the city's most charming neighborhoods. It was a great opportunity for international students to connect with each other while experiencing the local atmosphere and hidden gems of Balat.
