Goal of the Activity

Visiting one of the primary landmarks of Ankara on a sunny day and having a rich classic Ankara dinner at Aspava!

Description

The start of the event was at Atakule, a 125 meter long communication and observation tower. The tower can be clearly seen around Ankara. The inside of the tower is a shopping mall with various restaurants. There's also a terrace where you have a 360 degree scenery over whole Ankara.

While being their with the participants, a guide gave a tour around. Fampus places, historic buildings and symbols has been showed. The parciapnts asked many questions about the view and also the capital Ankara.

After enough discovering a quick recover was much needed so seats were taken and chit chat started with the growing new friendships.

For dinner the restaurant Aspava was reserved. "Aspava" is a well-known concept in Turkey, often associated with traditional kebab restaurants primarily found in Ankara. The word "Aspava" is sometimes thought to be an acronym for the Turkish phrase "Allah Sağlık, Para, Afiyet Versin Amin," which translates to "May God grant health, wealth, and good appetite, Amen." These eateries are famous for offering a wide range of side dishes along with kebabs, such as salads, grilled vegetables, and complimentary tea. Aspava restaurants are known for their warm hospitality, generous portions, and affordable prices, making them popular among locals and visitors alike.

Participants asked for the translation of the menu and afterwards had a rich and fulfilling dinner.
