Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to show some monuments of the city of Rome and the Vatican City, telling their history and fun facts and connecting them to the famous movie Angels and Demons which takes place there.
Description
We gathered the students near St Peter's Square and from there we started our tour through one of the most fascinating areas of Rome. Starting from St Peter's Basilica, we then headed towards Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Campo de' Fiori, passing through some hidden and little-known places such as the Arco dei Banchi, where there is a vault with a starry sky frescoed on the ceiling. During the visit, in addition to the history of the monuments, we also saw how they were presented in the film Angels and Demons.
