Goal of the Activity

We wanted to show how we celebrate Andrzejki in Poland and we also showed them a little fortune-telling game

Description

โœจAndrzejki is an evening of fortunes performed at the end of the November. Initially, unmarried women participated in Andrzejki to help them find a husband. Fortune-telling was practiced in solitude until it became a group event.
Nowadays, Andrzejki is a night of fortunes and fun for all ๐Ÿคฉ

Some activities are still performed today!
The most common one is pouring wax into cold water (often through the eye of a key) and interpreting the shape of the solidified mass ๐Ÿ—๏ธ
But here are some other ones:
Try to get the longest peel from an apple. The peel is then compared to a letter shape, which is said to be the first letter of your future wife or husband ๐ŸŽ
Prepare a heart of paper and write as many names as possible on one of its sides. The second step is to pierce the heart with a pin. The name you come across belongs to your future partner ๐Ÿ’Œ
Arrange the shoes one behind the other so they head towards the door. Then, you move your shoes from the end to the beginning of the row. The person whose shoe crosses the threshold first will be the first to get married ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

Remember to try them yourself! ๐Ÿ”ฎ
