Goal of the Activity
Show foreign students an iconic Turkish tradition called "Altin Gunu" where each participant is in charge of bringing a meal and/or dessert, and everyone meets up and shares it while speaking and chatting.
Description
A house was chosen, and each participant brought a meal that was important in their childhood, or even just a food that they were craving. All the meals were put into the center of a table and shared "family" style. While sitting, eating, and drinking Turkish chai people exchanged stories from their lives and their personal opinions on a range of topics ranging from serious to light.
