This event was part of the project “Be a changemaker for a European sustainable campus”, in collaboration with EDISU Piemonte and CROUS Versailles. The project was co-funded by the European Union in the framework of Erasmus+ and it aims at promoting the concept of sustainability among university students. Through this project we wanted to support the capacity-building of partnership’s staff as well as facilitating a mutual learning opportunity on a transnational level among young people. Specifically, this event was aimed to explore innovative strategies and solutions to minimize waste, optimize resource usage, and promote circular economy practices.
The event brought together environmental experts and academics in order to discuss the latest advancements in waste reduction, creative reuse initiatives, and recycling technologies, while raising awareness on responisble consumption. At the end of the conference there was a workshop and a discussion panel. Participants had to choose among several projects which one was the most greener and upreclying-related and why some of those projects should be prioritezed from an environmental point of view. This activity offered an intercultural exchange among speakers and participants, giving inspiration and practical solutions for a greener future.
