The purpose of this trip was to allow the Erasmus students, through various activities (museum, city tour, etc) to discover a new city and part of a new country.
In addition, the trip allowed to create links between Erasmus students who did not know each other before, but also with the ESN members who went with
SATURDAY: We went first to deposit the bags to the Inn (we left by bus). Then, the erasmus were divided in different groups, each with 2/3 members of ESN. Each member had a paper with information to give in front of key locations, and the erasmus had a paper with questions to answer. The team with the most points got a reward.
Then we had some free time in the city to go and eat where we wanted, and we gave everyone an appointment in front of the cologne museum. We had the right to a guided tour of the museum in English, with the explanations on the manufacture of the perfume, the various products used and at the end we all had the right to a small sample.
After we had some free time, we went back to the Inn to get ready for the restaurant and we all ate in a pizzeria.
After the restaurant we went to a party in a well-known place in Cologne.
SUNDAY: We had breakfast at the hotel, checked out (our suitcases were kept in a locked place) and had free time until 1.45 pm when we all went for a fry.
After the fry, we went for a boat ride on the river, and as the weather was great we all sat on chairs outside and enjoyed the beautiful landscape.
Once the boat tour was over, we had some free time and we met at 6 pm in front of the Inn to take our bags and come back with the bus.
