To raise awareness about hearing disabilities.
We all met up and talked for a bit before starting our games. The first gae we played was lip reading - we all went into groups of three, each group was then sent lists of 6-8 items to take turns saying to someone with noise cancelling headphones on. After they guessed the items, the next person was given the headphones, and so forth. We did 3 rounds of fruits, three rounds of vegetables, and four rounds of animals. The second game was an acting game, everyone wrote sentences that were then collected and re-distributed. Everyone then took turns acting out what the sentence was without saying anything. The last game was a picture game where we were given two tiles explaining a story and we had to complete it with an expression. All these games were designed with people with hearing disabilities in mind to show the importance of expressions and lip reading.
