Goal of the Activity

To provide a hands-on cultural learning experience through a traditional Portuguese pastry-making workshop, while encouraging interaction, socialization, and connection among Erasmus students.

Description

The Pastel de Nata Workshop offered Erasmus students the chance to dive into a sweet part of Portuguese culture by learning how to bake the iconic pastel de nata.

Held at Livensa Living, the workshop was dynamic and engaging, combining hands-on learning with cultural exchange. Participants were guided through the baking process and then enjoyed the results of their efforts together.

Despite the enthusiasm, the large number of participants in a limited space presented challenges for active involvement. The setting made it difficult for everyone to participate equally, which is essential in cooking-focused events.

Future editions may consider running smaller groups or split sessions to maximize interaction and improve logistical flow. Nevertheless, the event was very well received, with excellent feedback from participants and strong interest in repeating the activity.
