The goal of the activity was to raise awareness about the importance of the topic of violence against women, fighting stereotypes and leaving a powerful mark on the local community.
We organized before the 25th two days of workshop, in which Erasmus students painted drawings or wrote sentences in their original language about what this day means to them, describing the situation of their countries regarding the topic of violence against women. We also organized a flashmob in our city on the 25th, where we read the posters students made. We did a powerful dance, clapping pur hands as many times as the number of victimes of femicides here in Italy; after it we had a round table in collaboration with the university, where we discussed about the situation of different countries on this matter.
