The ESN rimini section has organized a direct event on Instagram open to all international students, Erasmus, and volunteers, dedicated to international women's day.
The purpose of the event was to allow all participants to express their opinion on the importance of this international day, to share ideas and topics to reflect on.
The live broadcast was held in the late afternoon, to allow everyone to participate after university lessons.
Initially, a section volunteer gave a speech explaining why this day exists and addressed issues on the condition of the female figure in different countries of the world, giving the possibility to all connected to be able to intervene both via chat and online, entering the live.
Later, female figures that have marked history were introduced. Women who have enriched society in the fields of literature, science, and cinema.
At the end of the speech, books and films relating to the topic discussed were recommended.
