Goal of the Activity
to challenge stereotypes and build an environment of mutual understanding
Description
We introduced ourselves and then discussed about our countries and culture-related stereotypes, starting from some sheets showing sarcastic statements and pictures, while having an aperitivo. Our group was formed by people coming from Italy, Germany, Poland and Portugal, so we debated oversimplified images and ideas we have about others and ourselves e.g. Italians love fashion, Germans are always on time, Portugal is the "bad copy" of Spain and so on.
