Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to bring together international students and young people with disabilities to erase borders and prejudice by having fun at playing handball in wheelchairs together.
Description
The VSG is an association in Darmstadt that specialices in sport activities for people with physical or mental disabilities or people in recovery. One of their activities is Inclusive Wheelchair Handball which was designed to include people with different abilities. We joined one of their trainings to learn the rules, practice moving around in a wheelchair with a ball and to play some matches together in mixed teams.
