Goal of the Activity

Inclusion, Learning about Culture, Fun

Description

New to studying in the Netherlands? Want to get to know Nijmegen, the Dutch culture and your fellow students? This is the event for you!

Touch of Dutch gives you a fun, educational and interesting first look into Dutch culture and student life in the Netherlands. A perfect start when you’re an international student, but of course Dutch students are welcome too! We will for example go over some important aspects of Dutch culture, such as parties and holidays, and also make sure you get a good start with learning your Dutch. Important to know how to order a beer here!

No event is complete without food. So naturally, you will also get to try out several kinds of delicious Dutch snacks!

The event will take place at the Student Church in Nijmegen. First come first served, so be quick! If you bought a welcome week package*, naturally you get priority.

Important: Due to the high amount of people who have already signed up and the new corona restrictions, we will have the following time slots:

6:30pm to 8pm
8pm to 9:30pm

If you have any question, accessibility needs or diet restrictions, please contact us at: [email protected]

*Welcome Weeks package –haven’t you had enough of introduction or would you like to join the welcome weeks again as a current student? Then make sure to buy our welcome weeks package that will allow you to join all our welcome weeks events for free and give you sign up priority. And to make it even better, you will also receive ESN card that you can use for discounts the whole year! For more info, check our Facebook.
