The aim of the activity was to promote cultural exchange, well-being, and social interaction among Erasmus students through a day dedicated to sport, art, and relaxation in an open-air setting.
The event, titled Sport, Art & Picnic Day, was held at Villa Dante in Messina, offering participants a unique blend of physical activity, creativity, and community bonding.
The day began with a variety of sports activities, including football, padel, and a group yoga session — providing opportunities for both friendly competition and mindfulness.
Following the sports segment, an art workshop was organised, where participants were encouraged to express their creativity through painting. Materials were provided, and everyone had the chance to create their own artwork in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere.
To conclude the day, a shared picnic took place in the beautiful gardens of Villa Dante, allowing everyone to unwind, socialise, and enjoy some food together after the activities.
This multifaceted event successfully combined physical well-being, artistic expression, and cultural interaction in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
