Welcome party

The preparation started a week before the event, speaking to the owners of the bar (Kudeta) and choosing the coordinators for the activity, both newbies and volunteers.

For the international students, an event in AMP was created so they were able to register and always have in mind the number of participants.

We organized and bought the decoration needed for the bar, within the assigned budget; we bought balloons, colorful letters and white and golden curtains for the entrance of the bar.

The same day of the event, during the morning, the bar was open so we were able to decorate, buying whatever was missing on that same day.

At the start of the activity we took turns so the international students could pay (8€, cash or card) and writing them on a list to keep count; besides, a drink was gifted to the people paying the fee.

The volunteers that were not on the door were inside the bar preparing everything that was necessary, being attentive to anything that could be wrong or missing.

During the party, the same procedure was followed where the volunteers were attentive to all the needs of the international students.
