Goal of the Activity

Our Goal is to introduce to our International Students how Carnival is being celebrated in Greece. TsiknoThursday is the day that the Carnival begins and the Greeks are having barbeques, listening to carnival and party-music and of course wearing carnival costumes.

Furthermore, we want the Erasmus students to meet each other, to meet us, meet our culture.

Description

You have heard about Greek Carnival and you are curious to see what is about? Are your Greek friends talking non stop about this Thursday and you have no clue why?
The REAL most wonderful time of the year (no offence to Christmas, but truth should be told) IS HERE! It's the Greek Carnival season and it will be UN-FOR-GET-ABLE
Tsiknopempti (meaning Charred-Thursday) is the day that marks the start of the carnival by having large BBQs, dressing up in carnival costumes and partying all day (and night)
Clear out your schedules, wear your craziest costume and join the Greek Carnival experience an Erasmus student could wish for
