Goal of the Activity

Bringing the students to the city where the Constitution of the first German Republic was drafted, inviting them to reflect about the democratic process and turbulence that came after WW I.

Description

Weimar, a small but rather well known German town in the East.
This city has seen many personalities of German literature and music, has seen the development of the Bauhaus movement, and even had its name given to one of the German Republics.

Nowadays the city still attracts thousands each year, either as tourist, as students, or as new inhabitants looking to experience the same inspiration that past artists experienced.

We will explore the city with a small guided tour first, and later you are free to visit one of the many museums that exist in the city - we will later provide info on them.
