Give internationals the chance to go abroad and visit places that are outside of the Netherlands.
Our weekend abroad will be to Gent this year. We will gather at Cambridgelaan at 07:30 and leave at 08:00 sharp to Gent. If everything goes well, we will arrive at around 11:00/11:30 at Hostel Draecke. It is possible to store our luggage there while we can go into the city. At 12:00 we organized a nice trip to the Belfort tower, from the top there is a great view over Gent. After the climb there is a possibility for people to roam around Gent for themselves. At that time a year there will be a christmas market plus beautiful lights througout the city that people can enjoy. We will meet everyone at around 7 for dinner (not decided yet where). After dinner we will either go clubbing/pub crawl (not decided). The morning after there will be a nice breakfast at the hostel. Then, it's also possible to leave our luggage at the hostel till we leave for home in the afternoon. At around 11 we organized for a nice boat tour to discover Gent from the water (and so everyone can recover from their hangovers). After the boat tour, people have some more free time to explore Gent. We will gather at 15.00 at the hostel and leave 15.30 sharp. At around 18.30 we will arrive back at the Cambridgelaan.
