Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to integrate and make Erasmus students active in the local community, through volunteering for the Food Bank, which deals with providing food to the most needy.
Description
During the National Food Collection Day, Erasmus students, along with members of the ESN and ESN recruits, spent a whole day in a supermarket in their care to "collect" food for the needy.
There were two groups, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, that were concerned to ask the customers of the supermarket if it was possible to buy some food that would then go to those who cannot afford it, and to sort out the different products in several boxes and then deliver them to the Banco Alimentare.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
