The goal of the even was to promote volunteering and to identify challenges and share experiences about volunteering abroad/during international mobility.
The main topic covered through this dialogue was the importance of volunteering and how to continue volunteering during international mobility. What challenges the students face and how to overcome them. We invited ESN volunteers from all over the country and local students from Székesfehérvár.
We had a 10 minute presentation about the topic, followed by 90 minutes long group discussions where participants could share their experiences and best practices about volunteering during their mobility.
Outcomes
Many of our members participated in some kind of volunteer activity during their mobility abroad (#ESNspirit) and they all had wonderful memories to share. Volunteering abroad provides a great way to connect with local communities.
