Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to foster the communication between our volunteers and people from across the world and, at the same time, we helped our city to best manage the event.
Description
We spent these days with 52 couples of players from 28 countries all over the world. We offered the organizers of the event our language knowledge, in order to facilitate the communication between them. Some of us had the task to translate the mayor's speech, someone to help the journalists during the interviews, someone else to translate the radio speaker and others were simply the reference point of the athletes. At the end of the day, we were very pleased to have contributed to this majestic international sporting event.
