Goal of the Activity

Understanding the condition of women in Italy in the 1940s, their struggle for the right to vote, and contextualizing it through historical insights to reflect on violence, rights, and feminicide in the present.

Description

The event took place on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The Italian film C’è Ancora Domani by Paola Cortellesi, which achieved significant international acclaim, was screened in its original language with subtitles. Following the screening, a discussion was held on the film’s themes, including the role of women in society, gender inequalities, and the dynamics of domestic violence. The debate fostered a constructive dialogue with the audience, encouraging the exchange of reflections and proposals on how to tackle violence against women effectively.
