The goal of this activity is to give the Erasmus students the opportunity to visit the Palace of Parliament, which is an important landmark in Bucharest and holds great cultural significance. By participating, the international students can learn about the history of this building and the political role it has in the present, while also interacting with the local volunteers who are there to answer any question.
The visit to the Palace of Parliament is an enjoyable experience for Erasmus students from multiple points of view. The students get to explore the administrative building of our country through a guided tour that offers them all the information they need about why it is historically and politically significant. Moreover, while taking the tour, they get to see and admire the architecture of the building: both the impressive exterior and the interior (main hall, council halls etc.). At the end of the visit, the international students should have gained a deeper understanding of the country's cultural heritage and also be more informed regarding our political practices.
