Visit to Museum and Duomo of Siena

In the occasion of the Culture Week 2021, going from 18 to 24 of may, we organized a visit to the Duomo and the Museum of Siena, to showcase the cultural heritage of the city. Thanks to their ESN card, our international students could visit for free the Duomo of Siena, the Museum and could have a wonderful view of Siena from the top of Facciatone. The visit was highly appreciated, and gave us the possibility to talk about the history of our city and how some specific historical events, such as the plague, lead to impoossibility to complete the original project to expand the actual Duomo structure to build a bigger cathedral.
