Goal of the Activity
To showcase cultural heritage of the city of Santander and the MUPAC Museum, which is the Museum of Prehistory and Archaelogy of Cantabria.
Description
We visited the Museum of Prehistory and Archaelogy of Cantabria, which treasures the material remains of sites of recognized fame La Garma, El Castillo and Altamira. Stone tools and, above all, movable art, carved in bone and horn, constitute the heritage of this museum, a reference among European museums for its quality and abundance. It was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1986.
