The goal of the Activity was to visit the Accademia Gallery and the Mercato Centrale and discover the beauties of Florence and its rich culture
We organized this activity for international students to discover the beauties of Florence and its museums. In particular, we decided to promote it during the first Sunday of the month, when all national museums are free of charge, to guarantee an accessible visit for everyone.
We gathered in one of the historic squares of Florence and we then moved to Galleria dell'Accademia to admire the David of Michelangelo and many other statues and paintings. The students really got the opportunity to connect and to bond.
After the visits, since the students and the volunteers wanted to discuss what they've seen and exchange their opinions, we decided to have a chat and a coffee at Mercato Centrale, an historic place to enjoy a taste of real traditions.
