Goal of the Activity
Learn something about Palio tradition directly from the local inhabitants, visiting a traditional museum of a contrada
Description
We organized together with the Valdimontone Contrada a visit to their own personal and historical museum, an activity thought to welcome our international students in Siena. Local people of the contrada show to our Erasmus their history, talked about palio and the importance of battling and winning the race. Our students coud look at flags, clothes and photos of the contrada and start to understand how important is this tradition for our city and for people living the "contrada life".
