Discover the beauties of Florence and its rich culture
We organized this activity for international students to discover the beauties of Florence and its museums. In particular, we decided to promote it during the first Sunday of the month, when all national museums are free of charge, to guarantee an accessible visit for everyone.
We gathered in one of the historic squares of Florence and we then moved to Galleria dell'Accademia to admire the David of Michelangelo and many other statues and paintings. The students really got the opportunit to connect and to bond.
We then regrouped and moved to Cappelle Medicee, an incredible mausoleum that is rarely visited but is neverthless breathtaking.
After the visits, since the students and the volunteers wanted to discuss what they've seen and exchange their opinions, we decided to have a chat and a coffee.
