The goal is to encourage international students to participate in the Pride event where they are studying abroad. This fosters inclusivity, raises awareness of LGBTQ+ rights across different cultures, and provides an opportunity for students to engage with and support the local community while celebrating diversity and equality.
For international students, participating in Umbria Pride 2024 was not just about joining a colorful celebration, it was an unforgettable opportunity to make a difference. Erasmus is more than just an occasion for fun; it’s a chance to engage with important social causes and stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. Together, we formed a vibrant and energetic crowd, united by a shared commitment to equality and diversity. The event, organized by the newly formed Umbria Pride coordination, including AGEDO Terni, Amelia Pride, Esedomani Terni, Famiglie Arcobaleno, Rete Lenford, and Omphalos LGBTI, offered a unique experience. It immersed students in an atmosphere of pure enthusiasm and inclusivity, where cultural exchange and activism came together in a truly meaningful way.
