The goal of the activity was to showcase the beauty and culture of Tuscany, and Italy in general, by bringing the intenational students to some of the most beautiful cities in the world.
We departed on May 3rd at 5 in the morning and we arrived in Pisa at around 10, where we visited the city with the guidance of ESN Pisa's volunteers. We left towards Lucca after lunch and we roamed around the city until 17, when we left to reach our hotel in Siena.
On May 4th, we stayed in Siena. We started the day by visiting the "Opera del Duomo" and then we had a lunch all together. After lunch we visited the city with some ESN Siena GES's volunteers. After the city tour we had free time, so we finished visiting the museum complex and most of us regrouped after dinner to attend a party organized by one of the "Contrade".
On the 5th, we planned to visit Florence. Since it was the first Sunday of the month, all museums were free, including Uffizi. We let the Erasmus free to roam around, visit the museum and eat something, and we regrouped after lunch for the city tour with ESN Florentia. After the city tour, following a suggestion given by our guides, we ended up in Giardino Boboli, where we stayed until its closure and most of us left to take the train. Some of us stayed even later and managed to enjoy the sunset from a panoramic view.
