The goal of this activity is to have dinner and local appetizers with Erasmus students and teach them some basic Turkish cultural facts.
We believe that getting to know new cultures is an essential part of Erasmus experience. Therefore, we organised a Turkish Culture Night to introduce our culture to you. We showed some moves from Turkish traditional dances like "zeybek and halay". And we talked about Turkish customs while having a taste of Turkish cuisine and appetizers. Also, showed international students the process of marrying in Turkish culture.
We organised our dinner in a Turkish Wedding concept and showed international students how the wedding parties are in Turkey, and integrated them with the traditions. This led international students to really experience a Turkish tradition themselves.
