Goal of the Activity
Our goal was to show our students a significant part of Turkish culture, food as well as explain some of our traditions such as sunday breakfasts that bring everyone together to cultivate and foster good relationships through friendly conversations that bring us together around the table.
Description
We teamed up with one of our ongoing partners, Doğacıyız Gourmet to show our food culture to our Erasmus students as we hosted them at a venue out-looking at the amazing view of the Bosphorus in Istanbul. We taught our students some of the names of the food, explained the table manners and gestures of Turkish people as well as the breakfast mentality and why its important for us, as it brought us together and strengthened our bonds.
