Show international students a bit more of our Portuguese culture;
Promote national visits to other Portuguese cities such as Sintra;
Promote students' interest in visiting hidden nature spots of Portugal;
Promote intercultural dialogue.
Sintra is a charming town near Lisbon where the stunning nature and the beautiful historical building and monuments mix. On this 2 day trip, we took our International students to visit some of those places. They had the opportunity to spend some time in a palace like the ones they see in movies, Palácio da Pena, and fall in love with the most romantic gardens in Quinta da Regaleira, classified as world heritage by UNESCO. They also had the chance to visit Cabo da Roca, the place "where the land ends and the sea begins", as it is the farthest point to west in Europe.
