The goal of the activity was to explore Pardubice's historical sites, culture, and local cuisine while fostering connections among students.
On our first ESN trip of the semester to Pardubice, we gathered at the dorms and then took a bus to the main train station. After arriving in Pardubice, we explored the lively streets, including Třída Míru, and visited Pernštýnské Square to admire the historical buildings. We also had the opportunity to taste the famous Pardubice gingerbread.
Next, we visited the Automatic Mills to learn about the town's industrial history, followed by a guided tour of Pardubice Castle, where we discovered its rich heritage. To wrap up the day, we strolled through the scenic Tyršovy sady park before heading back home. It was a fantastic trip full of exploration and fun!
