Discover rock formations and natural surrounding outside Cracow
The main goal was to show foreign students the natural heritage of Poland, in this case the rock formations and landscapes of Ojców National Park. The park is located just near Cracow, 30mins by public transport. Especially that it is so near and easy to reach, we wanted to show that Cracow is not only a city full of cultural facilities but also has its more wild side.
The trip included walking along paths of the park, visiting a cave and sightseeing castle's ruins. Participants learnt about local legends, architecture and geology - all thanks to our local students acting as guides and sharing their knowledge depending on what they study. 'Students helping students' seems very accurate in this case.
Walking in nature surroundings was a great opportunity to get to know each other and share our experiences.
