The goal was to introduce the students to the cultural heritage of the Czech Republic by exploring the historic Lednice Castle. The guided tour aimed to provide insight into the castle’s rich history and architectural beauty, fostering an appreciation for local traditions and landmarks while enhancing cultural exchange and creating memorable experiences.
Our trip to Lednice Castle began with a train and bus journey from Brno, offering students a glimpse of the beautiful Czech countryside. Upon arrival, they had time to explore the stunning castle gardens, known for their picturesque landscapes and historical charm. This was followed by an engaging guided tour of the castle in English, where they learned about its rich history and architecture. After the tour, students enjoyed several hours of free time to further explore the gardens, have lunch, or relax with a beer, fostering a relaxed environment for cultural immersion and socializing.
