Goal of the Activity
With this Trip we aimed to showcase our beautiful city of Guimarães, considered the birthplace of Portugal, motivating the interest for the country history and traditions.
Description
We organise this trip in mixing historical moments, the promotion of natural landscapes and estimulating an immersive experience into the typical food.
We start with a City Tour by ESN Minho, then we visit three important monuments (Guimarães Castle inlcuded) and afterwards we have free time.
To finish greatly, we go to Serra da Penha through a cable car ride and among that beautiful view to the city, we share a typical sweet (Tortas de Guimarães) with the International Students.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
