Afforest part of the landscape affected by the bark beetle.
After an agreement with Lesy ČR, we booked a sufficient number of trees for 20 people. By train, we arrived at the nearest railway station, from where we set out on foot to Kleť. We took part in the prepared workshops, we took part in the afforestation of the allocated part of the forest and then we went to the top of Kleť. Then we divided into two groups. The first group went down the same route back to the railway station, from where they returned to České Budějovice.
For the second group, a descent on scooters was arranged to the town Zlatá Koruna 11 km away, from where we were transported back to České Budějovice by bus.
Thanks to the workshops, the students got acquainted with the issues of bark beetle calamities, afforestation and drought.
The students had the opportunity to learn about the possibilities of tourism in the Czech Republic.

The total walk distance was 18 km - participants had the opportunity to increase their physical condition.
