The primary goal of this activity was to promote environmental sustainability by actively contributing to reforestation efforts. Through tree planting, we aimed to raise awareness about climate change, encourage community engagement, and provide participants with a hands-on experience in making a positive environmental impact. Additionally, the event fostered teamwork and cultural exchange among exchange students and local volunteers.
This tree-planting event, organized in collaboration with Plantăm fapte bune în România, brought together exchange students and volunteers to plant trees in Caracal (Olt County). The initiative aimed to restore green spaces, improve air quality, and inspire participants to take further action toward environmental conservation.
The event included transportation, equipment, and meals for all attendees. Participants engaged in a structured schedule:
- 08:00 – Departure from Bucharest
- 11:00 – 14:00 – Tree planting activity
- 14:00 – Lunch break
- 15:00 – Return to Bucharest
By participating, volunteers not only helped the environment but also built new friendships, strengthened community ties, and contributed to a greener future.
